Thrown on the wheel from mid-fire stoneware clay. This elegant vase is heavily inspired by the art nouveau movement. The stems are carved relief from the vase’s surface. The leaves were hand-sculpted then attached to the carved stems. The looping stems on the neck were made from carefully wrapped coils. Every element was methodically hand painted to pop from the surface.
